These pancakes are a real treat for breakfast or brunch! I added turmeric to enhance the yellow colour and for the added health benefit. The key with this recipe is to make sure the liquid ingredients are combined thoroughly and make sure the batter is smooth (no lumps allowed!).

INGREDIENTS:
250g of Self-raising flour
1tsp Baking Powder
1 Tbsp Sugar
1 Tbsp vanilla essence
350ml of any plant based milk
1 tbsp vegetable oil
1/4 of a tsp of apple cider vinegar
1/4 tsp Turmeric
METHOD
1. Combine all the liquid ingredients together with a whisk together until one mixture forms 2. Combine all the dry ingredients in a separate bowl
3. Pour the liquid ingredients over the dry and combine until a smooth batter forms
4. On a heated pan, pour the mixture over to create circles of desired size and cook until bubbles begin to form on the top of the pancake
5. Flip and cook until browned on both sides
